Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes!

Hayden has had a recent obsession with {Head, shoulders, knees and toes} and will sing it to us at every opportunity... She randomly crawled up on our bed last night as if it were a stage and we were her audience. She began to sing and act it out. And once again, as usual with this child of mine, a twinkle of inspiration hit me. So today we put on her prettiest performance dress and photographed the fun! Go ahead and try your HARDEST not to sing along I DARE you! :)

{Antiqued}

As I continue to work on my {Personal Projects} I'm finding that while in the middle of one project something inspires a new one. My most recent inspration came while working on another project that has something to do with signs... (more to come later) and I found this truck.
It just so happened to be parked outside of a really great little antique shop. Hence, my newest inspiration! We had such an amazing time walking around this little shop photographing anything from antiques to gifts, you name it. So of course we had to hit up a couple other antique stores. It's amazing some of the little oddities you can find. It doesnt help that all these great treasures just happen to be for sale! Needless to say I walked away with a  couple of treasures to add to my at-home collection.... Here's just a FEW snapshots of our adventure!

.: {Pet Project} :.

I have been having a BLAST lately giving myself Themes and "Project" ideas and rolling with them. I figured since I am visiting my Mom up in the mountains and she's pretty much Dr. Dolittle in her own right a {Pet Project} was inevitable.... I had gotten some crazy notion in my head to photograph all her amimals. I also got lucky that my brother and his wife were headed out of town and needed babysitting for their pets too! It's so neat because each of these {Pets} have very distinct personalities and are SOOOO loved by all of us in many different ways. So here you have it... The "extended" members of our family the furry, the feathered and the wild! And on a side note, I don't know if anyone has ever photographed a ferret, but I suggest upping your shutter speed! Those critters are FAST! LOL! Enjoy my latest treat!
